Real Wedding: Boulder, Colorado
Adrienne and Evan opted for a unique wedding day schedule, beginning with a morning ceremony under Boulder’s famed Flatirons on the lawn at Chautauqua Park. Immediately following the ceremony, they treated their guests to coffee and pastries from their favorite local coffee shop and a ride back downtown from Boulder’s own Banjo Billy Bus Tours. The couple climbed in a pedicab decorated with a sign hand-made by a close friend and toured around downtown making a stop at the farmers’ market before returning to the hotel as well.
Guests were let loose for the afternoon, free to explore the downtown, surrounding trails and all that Boulder has to offer before an evening reception that was held at the landmark Hotel Boulderado. The bride’s love of lavender flowers infused the day; she chose décor and dresses that fit the mood of the morning ceremony, and the two had their cake created with a fondant replica of the lace adorning Adrienne's dress.
