There are so many marvelous ways to celebrate your love and of our course I have a brilliant one. Why not get hitched poolside? Organize a classy poolside wedding reception by mixing equal parts of glamour and welcome. Fill the pool with floating candles, flowers or lanterns (a great selection is available at LunaBazaar) Here is an inspiring gallery of floating decorations for a gorgeous pool wedding reception.
Before I bid adieu to you here is a skip down pretty lane courtesy of mlittlephotography. This pretty engagement is like a breath of fresh Arkansas air. I love how it started off outside with some relaxed and countryside shots, it moved to a wine testing session and finished off with some glamy urban set-ups. It’s such a great way to capture the different personalities of any couple!
So, the dates are set, the plans are being made, and it’s about that time to let people know when the big day is. If you already took your engagement pictures you need STD cards. Check out these Circle Save-the-Date Cards... I have to admit they are pretty stylish!

Happy Wedding Wednesday! I feel like this next Steal Worthy Wedding is a page out of some great French romance film. It’s the kind of wedding that just sweeps you up and makes you fall in love all over again. I discovered this beauty thanks to the nice people from Southern Living who were kind enough to send me a copy of their new special Weddings issue, which features this breath-taking nuptials plus 120 pages of bridal inspiration, Southern style.
This affair is a tale of a gorgeous Bride and her equally handsome Groom exchanging vows in a jaw-dropping plantation in South Carolina. On paper, it sounds like a complete dream and in reality, it’s even more so. Gayle Brooker snapped some amazing imagery for us to drool over and if you can manage to pry your eyes away from the perfect little Monique Lhuillier number, you’ll fall even more in love with every understated yet ever so elegant detail. So sit back, get cozy and spend some time exploring all the fabulousness.
One my favorite details of this fete is the BEAUTIFUL Calligraphy Stationary by Oscar & Emma...swoon!
The soft, yet sophisticated color scheme included ivory (flowers), grey (bouquets' wrap) and my latest color obsession, soft pink (bridesmaid dresses).
You know I'm a sucker of personal wedding touches. So it will come as no surprise that I love the fact that the ceremony was decorated with peach blossoms - a nod to the bride's father who is in the peach business...how cute is that?
A recent trip to Paris inspired the bride to create the soft, romantic feel of the reception. And event designer, Kristin Newman nailed the concept to perfection... it is simply oh la la lovely!
You can find this and other 25 uniquely southern affairs in the new issue of Southern Living Weddings. It is on newsstands through April 6th and it highlights fresh takes on ritual and tradition, wedding day style tips featuring merchants based in the South and more.
