{Steal Worthy Wedding}: A Parisian Inspired Southern Affair

Happy Wedding Wednesday! I feel like this next Steal Worthy Wedding is a page out of some great French romance film. It’s the kind of wedding that just sweeps you up and makes you fall in love all over again. I discovered this beauty thanks to the nice people from Southern Living who were kind enough to send me a copy of their new special Weddings issue, which features this breath-taking nuptials plus 120 pages of bridal inspiration, Southern style. 

This affair is a tale of a gorgeous Bride and her equally handsome Groom exchanging vows in a jaw-dropping plantation in South Carolina.  On paper, it sounds like a complete dream and in reality, it’s even more so.  Gayle Brooker snapped some amazing imagery for us to drool over and if you can manage to pry your eyes away from the perfect little Monique Lhuillier number, you’ll fall even more in love with every understated yet ever so elegant detail. So sit back, get cozy and spend some time exploring all the fabulousness.

One my favorite details of this fete is the BEAUTIFUL Calligraphy Stationary by Oscar & Emma...swoon!

The soft, yet sophisticated color scheme included ivory (flowers),  grey (bouquets' wrap) and my latest color obsession, soft pink (bridesmaid dresses).

You know I'm a sucker of personal wedding touches. So it will come as no surprise that I love the fact that the ceremony was decorated with peach blossoms - a nod to the bride's father who is in the peach business...how cute is that?

 

A recent trip to Paris inspired the bride to create the soft, romantic feel of the reception. And event designer, Kristin Newman nailed the concept to perfection... it is simply oh la la lovely!

{Steal Worthy Wedding} : Romance in Bali

Today I came to the conclusion that I'm obsessed with pink, something totally unexpected on me... I've never like pink. But lately, every time I find a wedding that impresses me somehow a soft shade of pink is involved. Is blush the new black? I don't know.. I just know that it is romantic, feminine and adds an elegant POC (pop-of-color) to any event. And the proof is this amazing Bali wedding photographed by Samuel Lippke. It isn't just wow… It is WOW.  It’s absolute perfection, I tell you.  Absolute perfection.  And I honestly can’t think of a better way to leave you for the weekend than in the company of this spectacular, steal-worthy event filled with trendy details.  I would count every last trend along with you, let's see how many can we spot. I have feature some of them here in Belle so follow the links and you'll find more information about each trend plus some pretty examples.

Lets satart with the magnificent location. I mean, beach destination weddings are usually so romantic.  But, Bali takes seaside romance to a  new level of fabulously with its mystical culture and exotic architecture.

You know, I love a bride that rocks a lace back wedding gown (trend #1), especially if that dress happens to be gold (trend #2) with touches of pale pink... stunning! Does any body knows who's the designer?

This outdoor ceremony décor is beautiful, although I think I've seen better ones (click here to see them, too), this one is still worth to pin into your ceremony decor inspiration board. I'm loving the pattern of  petals on the isle!

Yes, the blush bridesmaid dresses are pretty and the parasols are a lovely addition, but what really got me from this image is the photography of the talented Samuel Lippke.. it is just mind blowing! The steal-worthy idea: get a good photographer.

Wedding signs are having a moment (trend #3). But, we usually get to see them in rustic or vintage events. So, kudos to the bride for showing that signs can be use in classic weddings, as well.

Now, let's move on to my favorite part of this event, the knock-your-socks-off reception. This tented event is just D-R-E-A-M-Y...

This gorgeous bride is defiantly in the know in terms of bridal fashion. She wore a second dress for the reception (trend #4). It was a breath-taking blush wedding gown (trend #5) that complemented her wedding colour palette to perfection.

Hanging wedding decor (trend #6) is so unexpected that would leave a lasting impression on every wedding guest. Case in point, these stunning hanging flowers and the gorgeouse chandeliers...

I have to admit that I'm not a big fan of roses, but these breath-taking centerpieces totally changed my mind. Thoughts?

Oh and speaking of details…ummm, can you say flooring? Yes, even the freaking floor was gorgeous at this wedding. It cover the grassed area where the tents were placed and also provide a path for the guest to arrive to the reception. It was white and shiny, so it reflected the light and bring and extra sparkle to the decor. Ooohh and the monogram on the dance-floor was the icing on the already perfect cake!

For my wedding re-do I would design a tented reception on not one tent, but several tents. Yep, just like this one.

The cake display on this Bali fete is so lavish it hurts! The bed of pink roses complements the floral accessory of the simple, yet elegant white laced cake (trend #7) in the most sophisticated way.  And the parade of exquisite details isn't over. Just wait until you feast your eyes on the bride and groom chairs! (trend #8) All I have left to say is, luxurious romance and its best!

{Steal Worthy Wedding} : Uber-Stylish Los Angeles Affair

Another wonderful Wedding Wednesday is upon us here at Belle and I can’t think of a better way to start your day than this stunning steal-worthy Los Angeles wedding, complete with a pretty pink and more pink color palette, insanely gorgeous florals and some of the most glam and romantic details I have ever seen.  Swoon.  Worthy.  This wedding is so stylish and effortlessly sexy that it will no doubt fill your heads with inspiration galore. Ceremony Decor: From the gorgeous chandelier and the romantic pink hues to the beautiful flowers, this chuppah is definitely a steal-worthy wedding element.

The Centerpieces: You probably know that I love candelabras, so I'm adoring this candelabra/lamp centerpieces. Gorgeous, right? But, to add an extra dimension to their decor their floral designer create an alternative centerpiece... genius! 

Custom Made Accessories: From the birdcage veil, to the belt and the headpieces, this ultra-chic bride ordered custom made accessories and took her look to a whole new level of sophistication.

The Hairstyle: I love when brides think out-of-the-box when it comes to wedding-day beauty. This bride give her look a glamorous, multi-dimensional approach by wearing the headpiece on the back of her head just bellow the up-do. In the front you can appreciate her veil and the gorgeous earrings and in the back you see the headpiece and the up-do.... SO CHIC!

The Bouquet: Ohhh peony bouquets! They are everywhere. I know why.... they're just irresistibly stunning. If you choose to carrie peonies or not on your wedding day, the cameo with pictures of loved ones is a must. Not only it adds an invaluable sentimental and extremely personal touch to your wedding day, but it also makes your bouquet look divine.

 

Cake: OMG! I have no word (or maybe I have a million words) to describe this cake.  It is a very unexpected, yet gorgeous combination of modern, classic, romantic and vintage. The design is so lavish, the bow detail is beautiful, the flowers are dreamy, the sparkly crystals are so elegant... I can keep on going all day! But, What do you think?

The Sweetheart Table: Unique chairs for the bride and groom are a YES on my book. I'm in love the vintage chairs on this sweetheart table. Very royalty!

Bow Napkins: I told you... bows are taking over the wedding world. This wedding is the perfect example. You can see them on the cake and also on the napkins. But besides being trendy, bow napkins are super budget friendly, yet sophisticated way to spice up your table decor.

Bridesmaids Shoes: I'm sure these bridesmaids where oh-so-happy to wear these fabulous shoes. Pick cool shoes for your bridesmaids they'll be eternally grateful!

Groom's Classic Tux: Every day I see more and more grooms and groomsmen rocking a bow-tie and a classic tuxedo, and I couldn't be more thrill. I love classic tuxes! Give your guys' look a modern touch by adding a non-white shirt like this for the groomsmen!

{Steal Worthy Weddings} A Contemporary DIY Event

Good morning, lovelies! What are you up to on this crisp, fall Friday? I’m excited to end the week with this sophisticated, steal worthy wedding packed with dreamy DIY elements.

You know… sometimes it’s a perfect detail that really gets me. Other times it’s a fabulous dress, a gorgeous decor or a stunning cake. But today, it’s the ENTIRE event. Yes, it is a beyond-beautiful, stylish affair overflowing with steal-worthy deets…. a marriage between the old and the new, featuring classic elements with the modern touch of a present- day couple.

Get inspired by my breakdown on every worth-to-steal piece from these nuptials. And don’t forget to keep your eyes open for fabulous DIY ideas you may want to borrow for your own wedding!

The Ceremony Decor: I love the contrast between the vibrant pinks and aquas against the simple white background. It's elegant...it's modern... it's timeless!

Bridesmaids' Look: The bridesmaids wore Breakfast at Tiffany’s inspired black cocktail dresses, that they would be able to wear again, with vintage stud earrings, and fuchsia satin peep toe pumps with bow accents. To give the contemporary twist of the mismatched bridesmaids to this classic look, they each wore a different brooch... genius!

The Bouquet: You know I'm a sucker of peony bouquets, but this one takes the cake. The colors are gorgeous. The clouds of aqua tulle are a lovely way to bring in the something-blue. Notice how this bride kept a comprehensive look by wearing an aqua bracelet and pink lipstick that matched the bouquet colors.

The Modern Venue: With clean lines and minimalist design, this is the perfect setting for a couple with a unique style and vision. With the bride's art background, and the groom’s carpentry skills, this couple took advantage of this blank canvas and really made the space our own.

The Color Palette: The fuchsia, aqua, black and white color palette of this wedding is just perfectly coordinated right down to the spots on the contemporary glam.

DIY Details: From custom welcome sign, hand-painted aqua vases and frame collage, this couple had a very hands-on approach to planning their  special day. They also created vintage birdcages and ruffled clam shells, adorned with glossy white driftwood, tulle and fuchsia flowers.

The Home Made Cake: OMG! can you believe this bride actually make this gorgeous cake by herself. She's definitely an artist. But even if you're not as talented as she is, this is, hands down, a steal-worthy cake. Take the picture to your baker and you are good to go, my friend!

The Flower Girls Outfits: Let's take a moment to admire this dazzling flower girl dresses. Beautiful, right? If you're using any vibrant color on your wedding day, the flower girl dresses are the perfect place to bring them to play. Little girls look adorable in bright colors!
