Outdoor Dining Inspiration

How gorgeous are these tables from Outstanding in the Field? They travel to places all over the country to host culinary feasts made with local ingredients, and always set up these amazing tables for attendees. I love how they are simply composed - just a white table cloth and neutral chairs. And obviously, the outdoor settings make it all the more inviting. So lovely!

Handwritten Paper Goods

There is something so charming about handmade goods, and these adorable paper goods Chelsea Fuss created for Project Wedding are no exception! I of course love the color palette, but that fork stamp (which you can find right here) is seriously too cute.

I wanted to share an amazing story with all of you....
I stumbled upon this blog,  The Stylish House, in the middle of the night Sunday, while I was waiting for photos to upload into my blogger.
This is a picture of a beautiful young girl, named Heather.
Heather, sadly suffers from a disease called, Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis.
Heather is in need of a liver transplant.
She needed to find a live donor, with type O blood type.
Cathy, Heather's mom, posted about her daughter's medical condition, on her blog, The Stylish House, and asked if other blogger's would spread the word about her daughter's medical condition.
After reading Cathy's post,  another blogger's husband,  courageously  stepped forward to be Heather's donor.
Heather's donor was officially approved and Heather is set to have surgery November 15th.   Cathy will be starting a caring bridge site to keep us all updated on Heather's condition.
I hope you get the chance to go over and visit Cathy, over at the Stylish House.

Please keep Heather and her family, along with her courageous donor in your thoughts and prayers.

I just wanted to make sure you all  read a comment that Cathy, Heather's mom,  left on this post....

Maria,
Thank you for sharing my daughter Heather’s story with your readers. Heather was the picture of health growing up so her illness was unexpected. Twenty five friends and family stepped forward to donate, but none had a compatible blood type so I used my blog to find a donor.
The word grateful doesn’t begin to cover how we feel about this wonderful man Robert and his wife Kayren who are helping us.
Transplants are life saving and if this can happen to our family it can happen to anyone. We never intended to go public with our story, but our wish is that it might get people thinking about organ donation. Thank you for your kindness, support and prayers!
Hugs, Cathy

Real Wedding: Santa Ana, California

I had a seriously hard time narrowing down the images to share with you all from Aubrie and Aaron's gorgeous California wedding. Not only are they such a cute couple, every detail of their wedding day was adorable! I love all the muted colors, and Aubrie's bouquet is just beautiful. The reception was a mix of classical rustic decor, complete with photos of the couple hung in garlands made of twine and clothespins. Jeff Wallace is responsible for the beautiful photography, and you can see more images from the day on his blog! {Update: Aubrie's gorgeous dress is by Melissa Sweet!}

And Just Like That...

Two years have passed! I couldn't let the day go by without a little mention of our Anniversary. We'll be out celebrating tonight and of course watching our wedding video when we get home (and looking back through the photobooth pictures and laughing)...if you want to walk down memory lane with me you can find all our wedding pictures right here. Have a good night!

Real Wedding: Crested Butte, Colorado

Happy Monday, friends. I am finally back and slowly recovering from the move - packing up all your things and hauling them halfway across the country is no joke! I will be back to regular posting this week, starting off with Katie & Brian's beautiful Colorado wedding.

The couple was married near the bride's parents vacation home and honestly, why would you get married anywhere else with a setting like that? To honor their surroundings and create an organic vibe, the tent poles and all of the floral vases were wrapped in Aspen bark. The boys opted for some Chuck Taylor's to keep things low key, and at the reception guests found their seats by way of painted rocks. The evening ended with a small bonfire outdoors - such a beautiful event!
