Real Wedding - Westfield, Indiana
Chrissy and
The pearl necklace pictured below was given to Chrissy by her great-great-grandmother who was married in the early 1900's. She had the necklace shortened and had some of the pearls that were taken out made into earrings.
Chrissy bough the aisle runner and then added the monogram herself! She blew the letter up on an overhead projector and then painted directly on the runner.
These are always two of my favorite photos from any wedding...
The church were the couple was married was decorated for Easter, which was a great way to save on ceremony decor!
Chrissy taught first grade at the church she and Stephen were married in, so after the ceremony was over they went to see the students for a quick "cookie reception." How sweet is that? There was some dancing, cutting of a cupcake, and a bubble send off. The students even signed a mat for Chrissy and Stephen as a keepsake.
I really love how "Michael W" ensured that his name would stand out...
This table held pictures of Chrissy and Stephens parents, grandparents, and great-great-grandparents getting married (there is a photo of the two of them in the center). The pencils on the right side of the table were favors for the cookie reception and say "
The table numbers were grade levels, complete with a picture of both Chrissy and Stephen in that particular grade. Mint julep cups were used to house the flowers.
Instead of tossing her bouquet, there was a "married couples" dance where the couple that has been married the longest is the last remaining on the dance floor. Chrissy's grandparents were the winners so she gave her Grandma her toss bouquet. Isn't this the sweetest picture?
Thank you so much for sharing all of these, Chrissy! If you would like to have your wedding featured on the blog, just send me an email with the title "Real Wedding."
