Real Wedding Recap: Therese & Dee

For me, this week is always a time in the year of both reflection and anticipation of new things on the horizon. So as a way to reflect here, I thought it would be fun to take the next few dayd and look back on some of my favorite weddings of 2009. If you've been reading for awhile you will have seen all of these before, but maybe you missed something the first time around that will now be inspiring! I hope you're all having a lovely holiday season and enjoy the look back...

Therese & Dee's wedding stands out to me not only because I helped with her invitations (she is the sweetest girl around) but because of Therese's wedding dress. Its truly the best use of a sentimental dress I've ever seen!

You saw the making of her wedding dress and today I am so happy to share Therese and Dee's wedding with you! The photographers responsible for all these beautiful images are Jamie and Chris of {j a c} photographers. Here are some of the other vendors that made the day come together:

Reception Venue - Hilton Irvine
MakeUp - Makeup by Liz
Flowers - Jazz Flowers
Coordinator - Grand Soirees

The groomsmen were given some adorable argyle socks, fedoras and cigars (I can't think of many guys who wouldnt' be thrilled with that combination).

Therese and Dee went to school at University of California, Irvine so that is where they decided to have their first look before the ceremony.

Aren't they a gorgeous couple? I love this shot from the ceremony - such emotion.

Therese and her coordinator did a great job with so many of the paper products, and yours truly came up with some of the design elements! Therese got in contact with me through the blog and I was so excited to be a part of her planning process.

Notice that the centerpieces are large glass hurricanes filled with water and candles. I am loving the light they add to the room.

Therese changed dresses so that she and Dee could perform a swing dance!

You can see more images from this beautiful wedding on the {j a c} photography blog as well as a slideshow of the day. Congrats, Therese and Dee!
