Not only is Tres and Laura's wedding beautifully simple, it is infused with a lovely sentiment. The couple met while they were each counselors at Camp Ronald McDonald - a camp for children with cancer and their families. They developed a relationship camping under the stars and donating their time to children in need, so when it came time to decide on a venue for their wedding the camp where they met seemed like the perfect option.
Guests stayed in the vintage camp cabins for the entire weekend, making use of the dining hall and even roasting s'mores around a campfire! Laura and Tres donated all of their DIY wedding decor back to the camp after the day was over, and also plan to return this summer as counselors. I adore the gorgeous setting of this wedding, but most of all I think its so great to be married in such a meaningful place. And to donate to a great cause in the process? Perfection!
