Quick Palete: Green and Gray

Still one of my favorite palettes, I am not sure I will ever get sick of green (or hydrangeas for that matter)! Depending on the shades you utilize it can be preppy, simple, classic, or basically whatever you make it. I actually took this picture myself...those beautiful blooms are currently hanging out in our kitchen!

Paper Garlands

These paper garlands from Kristina Marie's Etsy shop are too pretty for words! They are available in just about any color combination you can imagine and she even takes custom orders. Some of them are made of old hymnals, which would be a lovely touch to a church wedding. Her designs were just featured in Martha Stewart Weddings - check out this picture to get and idea of how you can string the garland across your ceremony chairs! {Found via Creature Comforts}

Hello everyone!

How are you?

I can't tell you how much I have missed all of you!

I first want to say thank you to everyone who left me such kind comments about my cupboard.

I really appreciate everyone who took the time to leave me such kind comments.

You all know how to make a girl feel special!

I am going to be away from my computer all of this week too.  My kids are in 4-H and we raise show steers, so I will be gone to the fair all week with my family!

So I just wanted to say hello to everyone and share a few pictures of my bedroom with all of you.

I will FINALLY be showing you pictures of my bedroom next week!

Yes it is actually finished, I am sorry it has taken me so long!

I am just going to show you a few glimpses of items in my room that I haven't shown you yet.

Etheral Wedding Gowns

These beautiful wedding dresses from designer Maria Lucia Hohan and so lovely I can hardly stop looking at the photos! Each dress just seems more beautiful than the next, and the styling of the photos is just gorgeous. Real Wedding: Atlantic City, New Jersey

Sheylea and Ryan's elegant wedding took place at a new venue in Atlantic City, One Atlantic. The event has such a "clean" feel to it, I appreciate the simplicity. The ceremony took place in front of floor to ceiling windows, and in lieu of flowers the couple opted to use glass lanterns as the focal point of the altar. And for some green elements in the center of each table, they used small bonsai trees! {All photos by Wren & Field Photography}

Quick Palette: Shades of Lavender

Colorful Robes and Sleepwear

I remember looking for a cute robe to wear while I was getting ready the morning of the wedding (don't forget that there will probably be some photographers in there with you!) so when the owner of Plum Pretty Sugar contacted me a few weeks ago, had to share her creations with you. Her robes, pajama shorts, pajama pants and even the jewelry pouches pictured above are all kind of whimsical without trying too hard. She even calls her store a "loungerie" which is so cute. Are you going to wear something cute while you're getting ready for your wedding? Or just go with your normal casual wear?
