Dress of the Week

Short and sassy...

Real Wedding: Pasadena, California

Judith and Enoth actually met in grade school and the two were finally married this summer in a gorgeous Pasadena event. The day began with the bride getting ready at her dress designer's gallery (hence the gorgeous images of Judith surrounded by bridal dresses) and continued to a beautiful ceremony at Westminster Presbyterian Church. The couple opted to invest most of their attention into the ceremony itself, and therefore had a short and sweet reception following their vows. I am absolutely enamored with Judith's dress, and her peony bouquet is lovely!

Fall Wedding Inspiration

It finally looks like fall outside. My porch was full of leaves this morning.
There's no better way to start a perfect fall week than with a perfect fall wedding inspiration.
These cozy images full of pine cones, autumn colors and apple pie were styled by Jessica Solane of Love Bird Style and captured by Souder Photography.

Artistic Wedding Cakes: Maggie Austin

These Maggie Austin cakes are truly some of the most artistic I've ever seen...they are so completely lovely! Some of them look more like sculptures than cakes, and those ruffles look like they are paper thin. So creative and beautiful.

The French Farm Table...
Ok... I am finally getting my post up about my french farm table.
I actually took these pictures about a month ago....
So you will have to excuse the fall decorating in these pictures...
sorry : )

This little table gets moved all over the house....
It now has a spot in our living room....

I don't know if you can see what is under my plates....
About a month ago, I received these beautiful vintage music sheets from a friend.
Thank you Rozmeen for sending me so many wonderful things...  I loved everything....

I only have a few items in my house that are this distressed.

I love decorating with food...especially pears.

The red fabric that is draped over the pillow on the bistro chair will soon be made into a pillow.
I have a friend in Canada to thank for sending me that piece of fabric.
Thank you Theresa!

I think this little table helps  add a lot of character to the room....

On another note......

You can win a beautiful handcrafted wreath from

Two DW Christmas stockings made from European antique grain sacks.....
And a table runner made from an European antique grain sack...
