Real Wedding - Cape Town, South Africa

I have another gorgeous South African wedding for you today, from the talented team at Wedding Concepts (they sent over a few weddings, so look for some more coming soon)! Gabrielle and Mark decided on a mixture of the beach and the city for their November nuptials, opting for a seaside ceremony in Kommetjie and a reception with 50 of their closest friends and family at a restaurant in Cape Town.
I adore the ceremony set up, such a casual an intimate beach setting with pillows on the sand. And for the cocktail hour the guests participated in an authentic African drumming circle! And if I do say so myself, the food looks fantastic.

Dress of the Week

Chic Chandeliers

A touch of blink is always beautiful.g. What better way to incorporate the blink factor to your event than the forever-elegant Chandeliers.
Ballrooms, haciendas, and even tents and gardens, are perfect for chandeliers. Chandeliers add a feel of elegance to a contemporary-modern wedding and bring an extra luxurious effect to the classic reception. Have Chandeliers as a feature in your wedding, you will thank me later!

Wedding Dresses Under $600

Nordstrom has been providing a pretty good selection of bridesmaids dresses online for awhile now, but a few days ago I was browsing through their official Wedding Shop and came across all these gorgeous bridal dresses. Would you believe that every single one of them is under $600? Most are certainly more on the casual side, but I think they're each just lovely! And actually, only two of the dresses pictured here are over $500, the rest are even below that. I love it when stores provide beautiful options for affordable prices!

Destination Wedding - Cancun

I am really in the mood for some warm weather relaxation, so when JasonG sent this Mexico wedding my way I was instantly digging the bright colors and the island vibe! Nicole and Mike were married at the Ocean Coral and Turquesa Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico just last month. Nicole's chose the perfect beach ready wedding dress (in my humble opinion) and I love her combination of blue, orange and pink. Julie of Classic Creations helped the couple pull the event together, even going as far as packing a suitcase full of linens to pull the reception together!

Don't the shots of the bride and groom on the beach make you want to hop a plane to an island? Or is that just me? You can see more images and read more details on JasonG's blog.
