Quick Palette: Aubergine and Green
This is quickly becoming one of my new favorite color palettes - I love the contrast of the deep plum and green! It feels like such a happy combination, doesn't it? Are any of you using this palette for your own wedding? {Image from Tinywater Photography via The Bride's Cafe}

Lovely Balloons
During the following months we will be following a very special Bride on her wedding planning process. Adrianne Alvarez, TV Anchor and reporter is going to get married in Playa del Carmen, Mexico and we’ll get you every detail about her wedding month to month. Check our February Issue to see the full story of this lovely couple.
Today I bring you these super fun images of the engagement style photo shoot we had with Adrienne and Hazael. The balloons were the perfect element for this session. Adrienne and Hazael had a lot of fun taking these pictures and we did, too. What do you think? Would you try balloons for your engagement session?

Grey & Yellow Tablescape
This has certainly been a popular color palette for awhile, and I still love the combination of grey & yellow! The "Eat, Drink & Get Married" cards below are such a cute detail, and naturally I love the green tinted glasses. The vendors involved in this shoot (listed below) did a lovely job!

Real Wedding - Chicago, IL
Seeing as how its my hometown, I always love a wedding that showcases the beautiful Chicago skyline. But I think my favorite thing about this wedding is the fabulous black flower that the bride used to adorn her wedding dress! Its such a simple accessory but adds so much character to the dress. And get this - Mikaela's dress was just $89 from the Issac Mizrahi collection at Target! I also love that each bridesmaid has her own type of flower - again, so simple and yet such a great twist. Here are the rest of the details:

Love, Lulu Mae
When I attended IndieWed a few weeks ago, there were several vendors that really stood out amongst the crowd and Love, Lulu Mae was one of them! Their lovely hair accessories are handmade from vintage jewelry, fabrics, feathers, and pretty much anything else you can imagine. They can be combined with veils of all types or easily stand on their own - such a great alternative to the traditional!

El Paso Best of Weddings
The Wedding Industry in El Paso TX is defiantly changing. This is the first year that six businesses from El Paso TX made The Knot’s “Best of Weddings ” list. El Paso doesn’t have its own category yet, we are under San Antonio. But, 6 businesses from the Capital of the Border made the list. Without a doubt this is an indication that the wedding industry in El Paso is raising the bar. Congratulations to:
